A sedan or SUV is the right call for a few people who need to move on their own schedule. It is door to door, and it books alongside a coach for the rest of the group.

What a full-size SUV carries

A three-row full-size SUV carries up to 6 passengers with their luggage. There is about 41.5 cubic feet of space behind the third row. Mention golf clubs, strollers or oversized bags on the request, so the operator can confirm they fit.

An executive second-row option is available on some SUVs. Ask if you need it.

Best uses

Executives, airport transfers and small parties. At many airports, sedans and SUVs use the limo or car-service pickup point. At DCA it is Curbside 3 at Terminal 1. At Logan, each terminal has a limo stand. At DEN it is Level 5, Island 2.

For conferences, book SUVs for speakers and leadership on the same booking as the coaches for attendees.

When to book a van instead

Two SUVs for 10 people means two drivers and two cars to track. A Sprinter van carries 17 to 19 in one vehicle. For groups of 9 to 19, the van is usually simpler.

Airport pickups by car

Car service is the simplest airport booking, but each airport has its own spot. At LaGuardia, car services pick up across the street at Terminal A, on garage Level 2 at Terminal B, and in the inner lane at Terminal C Arrivals. At ATL, pickups are limited to permitted limo companies, and every limo pickup is arranged in advance. Give us the flight number so the pickup tracks the real landing.
