Coach & Minibus USA is a booking platform for group ground transportation. Your trip goes to a licensed, insured partner operator, and you get one quote that covers the vehicle and driver.
What we do and what the operator does
Our job is the booking. We take the headcount, addresses, times and luggage, work out which vehicle fits, and find an operator with that vehicle free on your date. We send the quote, answer your questions and pass the final details on.
The operator's job is the trip. The operator owns the coach, employs the driver, maintains the vehicle and holds the operating authority. On the day, the driver follows the schedule you confirmed.
The standard every partner operator has to meet
Every partner operator must hold active FMCSA operating authority and a USDOT number where the trip requires it, plus commercial insurance. When a vehicle is built to carry 16 or more people, counting the driver, it needs a driver with a passenger-endorsed CDL.
You can check this yourself. Look on both sides of a regulated bus: the USDOT number and carrier name are there. FMCSA's Bus Safety Search shows a carrier's safety rating and any out-of-service order.
Why we quote each bus rental instead of listing rates
A bus rental price depends on the date, the hours, the miles, the vehicle, and any waiting time, tolls or parking. A flat rate card would be wrong for most trips. So we quote the trip you actually describe.
Nothing is charged until you accept. Cancellation terms depend on the operator and vehicle. You see them on the quote, before you pay.
Twenty cities, each with its own coach rules
We book in 20 US metros. They run from New York and Washington, DC out to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Seattle. On each city page you will find the airports, venues and bus rules that shape a trip there, such as the Fifth Avenue pickup ban in Midtown or the permits needed at Port Canaveral.

Are you a bus company?
No. We arrange the booking. The partner operator owns the vehicle and employs the driver.
What vehicles do you book besides charter buses?
Midsize coaches, minibuses, Sprinter vans, party buses, and sedan or SUV car service for smaller groups and airport runs.
What happens if my plans change after I accept?
Tell us as soon as you know. New times, stops or a bigger headcount can change the vehicle or the price, and the cancellation terms on your quote apply.
